Winter 2010

This seems more like winters that I remember from 20 or more years ago. we have had a series of cold fronts coming off the southern ocean bring rain every few days. It has not been bitterly cold (although we did have two very cold days just when we had to plant out a shipment of 100 bare rooted grafted walnut trees - possibly the most unpleasant days so far this winter!) 

The ground is wet as far down as you want to dig and it looks like a good Spring coming up.
